Access to Nagasaki


| You can come to Nagasaki via various access routes.
Tourists from foreign countries usually fly to Tokyo-Narita Airport or Osaka-Kansai
International Airport and proceed to Nagasaki by domestic airline or railroad.
Tourists from Asian countries may fly to Fukuoka Airport and proceed to Nagasaki
by railroad or highway bus. There is also a convenient and fast ferry service
from Pusan, Korea to Fukuoka.
Regular airline services run twice a week from respectively from Seoul, Korea
and Shanghai, China to Nagasaki Airport. Visitors may find these airline services
convenient because Nagasaki is near Korea and China. The distance between Seoul
and Nagasaki is about half the distance between Tokyo-Narita Airport and Nagasaki.
The distance between Shanghai and Nagasaki is also three-quarters the distance
between Tokyo-Narita Airport and Nagasaki.
A ferry service shuttles between Tsushima Island and Pusan, Korea.
